Here's the news we have to report.
Warm greetings from
One Voice Te Reo Kotahi
Hello, everyone,
We are pleased to have our first meeting with a CERA representative last
week. During the meeting, there were some great conversations where we
shared our sector's experiences. The feedback we’ve received from our
registry helped inform that—so thank you!
A few key items being investigated by CERA now are:
-Indicators of recovery, and if the data collected to inform these can be
made accessible so that they might be used locally by NGOs
-Support for people and organisations to prevent burnout
-Linguistically diverse people's needs—both in terms of representation
and communication
-Funding options comparable to the CHIFS funds (small seeds funding to
support initiatives)
We will be gathering our voices again soon, and we hope that you can join
us. Our last gathering of the year will be a full-sector event.
* Friday, 9 December from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
* Location: Mental Health Education Resource Centre (MHERC)
* 403a Worcester St (near Stanmore Rd). This is the correct address!
* A CERA representative will also be present.
If you know of anyone who might be interested in attending, encourage them
to register and then invite them along! The registry form is available at

That’s the update for now.
Yours in solidarity,
