Opening:  Rex welcomed everyone to the forum and invited a blessing on the meeting. 

Introduction:  Katherine Peet explained the kaupapa of OVTRK and gave an overview of our Sector.  She also told how some people had communicated to her that they felt too angry to come tonight because they are so concerned that the wellbeing of people is being overlooked due to the focus on the anchor projects.  They were apprehensive that an angry contribution would affect the respect for their NGO and their access to funding.

Anchor Projects                          Communities

Following an update from the Christchurch Central City Development Unit (CCDU) of CERA on the ANCHOR PROJECTS, the forum will provide an opportunity to weigh up how/if these ANCHOR PROJECTS rebuild communities that both promote sustainability and reduce social inequities. 
Mō tātou, ā, mō kā uri, ā muri ake nei.  For us and our children after us.

Between planning for forums and advising our delegates at the panNGO support panel, One Voice Te Reo Kotahi has also been able to regularly meet with Benesia Smith (Deputy Chief Executive, Strategy & Governance) and Michelle Mitchell (Deputy Chief Executive, Social and Cultural Recovery).  Below is the summary of where we've got to, which may be of interest to you.

Note that buses stop right outside the campus. Street parking at that time is free and $2 on CPIT campus
